Density - 909 people per square mile; 2.26 persons per household

Size rank - Second in total area and fifth in population within Arizona

Education level - 42 percent of population are college graduates, 28 percent have some college, and 20 percent are high school graduates

Financial rating - Scottsdale's bond rating is one of the highest in Arizona, according to the Moody's Investor Services rating agency. It received the highest rating (Aa1) of the top 10 cities in the state for general obligation bonds.

Property tax rate - Among the lowest paid in Maricopa County, at $1.65 per $100 assessed valuation. Property taxes in Scottsdale were actually lowered in 1995 because of a strong economy!
